Mile-High Maiden™
I once asked first-man-on-the-moon Neil Armstrong to be a signer of our Norman Rockwell print “Man’s First Step on the Moon.” He declined, saying it was against his policy to benefit from his tenure as a U.S. government employee by doing what amounted to a product endorsement. This month’s “Maiden”--with tongue firmly in cheek--obviously didn’t get the memo.--CWA
