Oh, Solo Me, Oh!
You may not remember your motherīs birthday. You may forget your wedding anniversary. But we bet you remember your first solo flight, right?
Wouldn't you rate that singular aviation right-of-passage, where nothing stood between you and disaster but your own skill, tenacity and determination, as right up there near the top of your list of pivotal life events?
We at AEROSPHERE certainly do. Yes, soloing an airplane is a big deal, one for which, in our opinion, the student pilot gets far too little credit. It is, after all, where the pilot is truly born.
So whether your memories of that first lonely flight are fond or frightening, whether your solo flight was smooth as silk or a little rough around the edges, weīd like to hear about it.
